what i need to install a solar panel system on my home

Good afternoon,

I am interested in a solar system for my home. I currently live in North Las Vegas and have been wanting to install solar panels. I have been approached by a number of companies but at this point I don’t feel comfortable dealing with anyone and I would like to do the installation myself if posible. I greatly appreciate your assistance and just let me know what information you would need so I can get the right equipment for my home.
